Winston Phulgence PhD

Winston Phulgence is a historical anthropologist with a specialization in heritage management, focusing on the public history of slavery in the Anglophone Caribbean. His work over the past 15 years is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the region's complex histories and he is committed and advocates for responsible heritage management practices, to ensure the respectful and inclusive portrayal of history in public spaces, museums, and educational settings and heritage management. This has been done by applying the tools of the disciplines of History and archaeology to develop a multidisciplinary approach to the interpretation and management of our complex heritage.
