INTEGRITY STATEMENT

CHC commits to safeguarding regional heritage through supporting community engagement, enhancing capacity-development in the field, and pursuing policy and programmes. We seek to promote sustainable heritage practices that improve the relationship between and with communities, and by extension, governments and non-government actors, with tangible and intangible heritage. Our work is informed by the work and code of ethics of international and regional partners in the field of culture, including, but not limited to, UNESCO, UNIDROIT, ICOM, ICOMOS, ICCROM, WMF, the Council of Europe, IIC, IACA, GCI, Museums Association of the Caribbean (MAC) guidelines, and research on tangible and intangible heritage, their sustainable development and preservation. As such, the Directors of CHC are committed to:
